Kirill Vorobeychik founded Ketoret Capital in 2022 as the culmination of a 20+ year career in financial services, driven by his constant motivation to always do more for his clients.
His story begins in 1996 when he graduated from Kharkov State University, Ukraine, with a double major in economics and foreign languages. That same year he moved to the United States. Fluent in English and always interested in finance, Kirill began his career at La Salle Bank in Park Ridge, Illinois in 1997. In 1998, Kirill joined the operations department of Smith Barney in Oak Brook, Illinois. While at Smith Barney, he attended Applied Mathematics and Financial Accounting courses at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. The opportunity to establish his own financial advisory practice came in May of 1999, and over the following seven years, Kirill went on to build a successful business at Smith Barney in Oak Brook and then Naperville. In January of 2007, Kirill joined Merrill Lynch in Oak Brook as an Assistant Vice President. He was promoted to Vice President in 2009, First Vice President in 2014, and Senior Vice President in 2015. He launched his independent firm as part of the Sanctuary Wealth network in 2022 with the specific goal of giving his clients an even higher level of personal service and a greater range of financial and investment solutions as well as international capabilities.
In his free time, Kirill enjoys his family, philanthropy, and exercise. He is an avid student of both Jewish sacred texts as well as history and investments. Kirill, his wife, Mary, and their son, Shaya, live in Lincolnwood and are active in the local Jewish community.
